The study tour of the "Hongzhi Navigation Program Funded by the Central Special Public Welfare Lottery for National College Graduates Employment Competency Training" of Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University visited MANLEE Technology. Teachers and students visited R&D and coating workshops for PETG soft-touch decorative films & 5E eco-friendly decorative films, immersing themselves in the R&D, coating and embossing technologies of new surface materials.
The enterprise instructor introduced textured decorative films including eggshell grain, litchi grain and Hermès-style embossment. Product features such as fingerprint resistance, scratch resistance, anti-UV & anti-yellowing, moisture and mildew proof were presented. Live tests including oil wiping and water vapor barrier were demonstrated. This series of decorative films are widely applied in prefabricated wall panels, store renovation, whole-house customization and elevator cladding for commercial & residential projects. The materials hold certifications including Class A1 fire resistance and ENF environmental standard, catering to demands of chain store refurbishment, real estate projects and architectural design institutes. Students raised questions about decorative film market application, new material R&D and project implementation, and felt the innovation potential of building new material industry.
This on-site study trip serves as an offline practical module of the "Hongzhi Navigation Program Funded by the Central Special Public Welfare Lottery for National College Graduates Employment Competency Training". It integrates academic theories with real industrial scenarios, helping students understand prospects and talent demands of building new material industry. It expands career options and inspires their passion for new materials and prefabricated construction, supporting career development of students via field research.
